What is the SDGs?
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (the 2030 Agenda) is a set of international development goals from 2016 to 2030, which was adopted by the UN Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015 building on the success of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
The 2030 Agenda listed “Sustainable Development Goals” consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets in order to eradicate poverty and realize a sustainable world. The SDGs are universal goals applicable, not only to developing countries but also developed countries, and pledge “Leave no one behind.” through the implementation process.

It has been about 40 years since the company founded in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture (formerly Koto Town). Because of the environment surrounded by abundant water and greenery, we were more conscious of our environmental efforts.
In addition, there is also a fact that Gokasho (now Higashiomi City), the birthplace of Omi merchants, is adjacent since our founding, we have been striving to develop our business with the spirit of " Three way satisfaction ".
We will work to achieve the SDGs with good for ‘purchaser’, good for ‘buyer’, good for ‘society’.

By constructing a solar power plant and owning it in-house, we supply cheap and reliable energy through the sale of generated power. -
